Writing for The Lantern
My junior year of college, I took COMM 3189, an independent study that came with the opportunity to write for The Lantern, Ohio State’s newspaper. Each week, I reported to an editor and pitched ideas for possible stories. These pitches led to four pieces of published content in The Lantern. To complete these stories, I was required to do my own in-depth research, interview peers and participate in events in order to report on them.
